I use mhddfs to join the filesystems of 4 disks.
the mhddfs created in /etc/fstab
unfortunately, once a while, the real filesystems are checked for errors ( fsck).
the mhddfs mount fails because it starts before the fsck end.
My server ( headless) hangs waiting for a ctrl-d.
Do you have a solution ?
Kind regards
Etienne

Hello,

I use mhddfs to join the filesystems of 4 disks.

the mhddfs created in /etc/fstab

unfortunately, once a while, the real filesystems are checked for errors ( fsck).<br

I still get the typical compilation error after applying patches 2.6.38 and 3.0. I also tried it with. 2.6.24, 2.6.38 and 3.0.
For 2.6.28 and 3.0 the patches go through:
$ patch < vpnclient.patch-2.6.38
patching file frag.c
patching file interceptor.c
Hunk #2 succeeded at 122 (offset 4 lines).
Hunk #3 succeeded at 143 (offset 4 lines).
Hunk #4 succeeded at 284 (offset 2 lines).
Hunk #5 succeeded at 314 (offset 2 lines).
Hunk #6 succeeded at 664 (offset 2 lines).
Hunk #7 succeeded at 698 (offset 2 lines).
Hunk #8 succeeded at 816 (offset 2 lines).
patching file IPSecDrvOS_linux.c
patching file linuxcniapi.c
patching file linuxcniapi.h
patching file linuxkernelapi.c
patching file Makefile
$ patch <vpnclient_linux3.0.diff
patching file driver_build.sh
patching file vpnclient_init
patching file vpn_install
$ sudo ./vpn_install
But then I get :
Is the above correct [y]
Shutting down /opt/cisco-vpnclient/bin/vpnclient: module cisco_ipsec is not running.
Stopped: /etc/init.d/vpnclient_init (VPN init script)

How did you get that running?
The source from fseitz.de is for AMD only, it seems.

Hi,

I still get the typical compilation error after applying patches 2.6.38 and 3.0. I also tried it with. 2.6.24, 2.6.38 and 3.0.<br

Thanks for your input. It seems it was definitely the router causing the issues. Billion have taken the router in to have a look at it, as they were perplexed that it didn't work with the settings they gave me to configure.
Netgear, I took the router back. I think (and this is solely my opinion) that the built in VPN client blocks it's own set of ports. When I actually try and open the ports needed, I get a message that they are in use, but there is no way for me to take them out of use (the places they tell me to look in the error message do not exist [are not available] in the client interface on the router).
So, attempt 3, I bought a Belkin Surf Wireless N150 router - close to end of life I'm sure, as it was very cheap, and very 'home' type -doesn't even mention VPN on the box at all- and Voila!, the VPN Pass through works fine.
Just thought I would put it put it out there, in case someone else had a similar issue.
Kind regards
